Salvation is the gift of God through his Son Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Titus 3:5-8 also says:
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Jesus himself said in John 14:6: I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If that’s not enough to convince you, the bible further states in Acts 4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
