Here's the scripture from the Christmas Story in the New Testament behind a song taken from Isaiah 53. When you think about it, these scriptures represent the beginning and the ending of Jesus life in the flesh on earth, but thank God He left us His Holy Spirit to continue His work. And the importance of the Holy Spirit should not be ignored, especially since Jesus was the seed of the Holy Spirit so He wouldn't be born under the curse of sin and death. (Mike)
